I found that when i was learning to do handstands that the most effective strategy was giving my mind something to focus on.
Reading a book or a magazine while upside down was one thing I did and it was lots of fun.
What was surprising to me over time was that I became more comfortable with just being in the position and was able to hold the pose for longer.
What came next was gold.
I started feeling the more time i spent upside down, the more I was able to see thing from a new perspective and that there were more options to the choices I had in life.
