Can we see Post-Traumatic Stress as a human experience which we all share?

The causes of suffering in this world are endless. In 2015 we have ever increasing exposure to not only our own suffering but the suffering of all peoples, all creatures and the planet itself.

Post-Traumatic Stress is a state of persistent mental, physical and emotional stress occurring as a result of any situation which overwhelms a person’s capacity to cope, leaving them feeling helpless or hopeless.

This often unacknowledged condition can have an enormous impact on the day-to-day life of a person. A great deal of funding is now being poured into research of yoga’s role in the treatment and prevention of post-traumatic stress, and its capacity to help those experiencing the effects of trauma to re-inhabit their life and body in a way that feels safe.

Join us to discover why yoga has this remarkable power to heal.
